Visits are available 7 days per week, including holidays.
Cat visits are offered Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, and weekends 11:00am to 2:00pm.

Will my cats have the same pet sitter
each visit?
Whenever possible, we assign the same pet sitter to your cat so they can build trust and familiarity.
While we can’t guarantee one single pet sitter (due to vacations, illness, and weekday vs. weekend staff), your cats are visited by a small, familiar team.
What if my cat hides during visits?
Many cats take a little time to warm up. Even if your cat prefers to keep their distance, we still ensure their food, water, and litter are properly cared for and monitor their wellbeing. We will search all your cat's favourite hiding places to ensure they're accounted for.
Do you care for multiple cats?
Yes. We regularly care for households with multiple cats and tailor the visit to their needs. Our prices are inclusive of multiple cats.
Can I request a specific time?
We operate within arrival windows:
• 9–11am
• 11am–2pm
• 2–5pm
This allows us to maintain reliable routes and consistent service.
Puppies (8–16 weeks) receive a one-hour window.
Is cat sitting better than boarding?
Most cats are far more comfortable staying in their own home where their routines and environment stay the same. Boarding environments can be stressful for cats.
How do you access and secure my home?
We use lockboxes, keyless entry systems, or a client-provided hide-a-key or magnetic key box.
A backup key must always remain at your property in case of battery failure or lock malfunction.
Access instructions are handled with the utmost confidentiality, and we treat every home with the same respect and care we would expect for our own.
How do you select your pet sitters?
Every member of the Adventure Tails team is carefully selected and vetted. They must pass a police background check before working with clients.
Our walkers are also fully bonded and insured, and are chosen for their reliability, professionalism, and genuine love of animals. We look for people who treat every pet with kindness, and the same level of care they would give their own.
How do I book and pay for a walk?
Booking is handled through our secure online client portal, where you can request services, manage your schedule, and pay electronically.
We prefer to meet you and your pet beforehand, but if timing doesn’t allow, we’ll schedule a phone call to review routines, safety details, and expectations before your first visit.
